That's it! The first recipe.
As I go along, I'll add some pictures and some more interesting stuff. I think this will work. You'll be able to access recipes easily and I can make changes if we find mistakes.
I promised John at Christmas that I'd make a book of recipes that are partly family stuff and also a scattering of favorites from all over the place. I gave it some thought and decided that if I put it in a blog, it'd be easier to access, and that I could add photos and invite friends to contribute, too. So here we are. I notice, right away, that writing recipes down with precision is difficult and fraught with the possibility of serious blunders.
